Open Water is about visiting you're loved one in the hospital and knowing they don't have much time left with us in this world. Not knowing what to say in these moments but also, wanting to give her what she want's in her last few hours. She doesn't want her last
moments to be in a hospital room so she asks him to help her escape.
So, he does. He drives her to the ocean where she peacefully passes away in his arms.

Broken is about having that one person or possibly others, who can talk you down from the ledge, so to speak. I battle depression and I suffer from Bi-polar tendencies. When I start to spiral down to that dark hole of insecurities, at times, I can be "Calmed" down by my closest friends. Knowing they have my back, means the world to me. "You calm me down when I get Broken"
