Rob Miller was born and raised in Elkridge, Maryland. He began playing the piano around the age of 7. He attended the Gilman School, a prestigious all boys prep school in Baltimore, and became influenced by diverse cultures. Along with art and music, Rob became interested in the guitar, particularly with Jimi Hendrix.
"The variety of expression has always intrigued me; soul and imagination being captured at a particular moment in time an space. Without physical space to reflect upon, the "colors" of a musical piece are experienced by the listener in a unique, personal, and very spiritual way."

NOT TOMORROW, NOT TODAY - "Effervescent as a fountain on a summer day, Rob Miller’s aptly named CD “Not Tomorrow, Not Today” manages to summon up the tenderly indelible soundtracks of black-and-white French films of the mid-1960s, a few light splashes of a chilled out Henry Mancini vibe, contemplative piano soliloquies, and some wry guitar and percussion grooves which keep the CD's music out of the nostalgia trap. A thoroughly enjoyable confection of tunes." — Sandra Shrader, writer and artist, San Diego
