Some Heyday highlights over the years have been: working with my guitar hero (and now Australian ARIA Hall of Fame recipient) Marty Willson-Piper - at age 17, he was THE guitarist I wanted to become…shit, he’s still THE guitarist to become! Also working with David J from Bauhaus / Love and Rockets, smoking cigars with Steve Miller, recording a radio commercial with Merle Haggard, Working with Kris Kristofferson where he gave our soundman a $100 tip (after telling him that he has NEVER tipped a soundman before), Interviewing Bo Diddley and Etta James, hearing Heyday music almost every time I go to Rubio’s (thanks to a surf music licensing deal I did 10 years ago!), having John Waite’s guitarist recognize me from my old band Caffeine, Terri Nunn from Berlin opening her dressing room door wearing only her bra and a smile, working on several albums with my surf music heros Paul Johnson (of the Surfaris “Wipeout” and Gil Orr of The Chanteys “Pipeline”), Bringing Pete Byrne (singer of Naked Eyes “Always Something There To Remind Me”) to my house so he could shower before a concert and freaking out my wife when he walked in because she was laying in bed reading the kids bedtime stories), working on an album with Tommy Tutone “867-5309” and playing several shows with him.

A Brief History
Californian by way of New York, New Hampshire, Virginia, Tijuana and a few other places...
I was singer / guitarist of the 90’s band CAFFEINE.
Settled in the San Francisco bay area and after deciding the business side of music was really my calling, I began interning for an independent record label called Heyday Records. Over time, I was able to move up and eventually moved up to president of the company. I still run Heyday today. Although primarily a music marketing and events company, we also do graphic design and CD/DVD manufacturing, http://www.heyday.com (plug, plug).
